Hotel Palazzo Stern is a 15th-century Moorish palazzo in Dorsoduro, Venice's university district. Once home to a famous art collector, it features works of art, sculptures, and mosaics from different eras. The building was expanded in the early 20th century using reclaimed materials, creating a unique blend of history and craftsmanship.

My stay at this hotel was simply amazing. The room was on a whole other level with a mezzanine, a huge bed, and a high ceiling. It had that classic Venetian charm with draperies and Murano glass chandeliers. The service was top-notch, providing excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to see. The location was perfect, nestled in the heart of Venice but away from the crowds. The dining experience was delightful with a fair selection and attentive staff. I truly enjoyed my time here.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was just perfect, opening right out to the Canal, and being so close to the water taxi stop made exploring the city a breeze. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, even helping me fix a window I accidentally opened all the way. The location was ideal, near key attractions but tucked away from the tourist crowds. The only downside was the dining options which could be improved.

I couldn't have asked for a better hotel location. Right at Ca'Rezzonico water bus stop, I was able to explore Venice easily and enjoy the daily life on the canal. The rooms, although in a magnificent Venetian style, were a little warm due to the lack of air conditioning, but they were Venice-sized and spacious. The service by the hotel manager was marvelous, making me feel right at home and the facilities were just perfect for my stay.
